Craft swap – 2011

I like making things for people. I also like when people make things for me. I also love it when it’s my birthday. So I’ve decided to organise a little craft swap amongst my lovely readers, and anyone else who wants to join in! Please don’t be shy! I think I’ll do this every year on my birthday!
I got the idea from a comment from Snuggleuptopus (how awesome is that name?) on my Pay It Forward post. I guess it’s quite similar to the pay it forward idea, except there’s no limit to how many people can join in, and you only have to make one thing.
You can send anything you’ve handmade, or I suppose you could get your Mum to do it and not tell anyone…
You can sew, stitch, paint, draw, knit, crochet, sculpt, photograph, anything!
All you have to do is email me your name and postage address to agiraffeinascarf@gmail.com and I will pass your details on to another crafter. I will try to match people to someone in a different country, but this may not always be possible. They will at least be in a different state, though! They won’t be straight swaps, the person you send to and the person you receive from may be different.
If you would like to answer the questions below to give your partner an idea of your interests you can, or you can put your trust in the other person! If you have a blog let me know the address and I will make a post of all the people participating.
The only conditions are that you can post internationally, and that you get it sent within 6 months. I know we’re all busy but that seems reasonable. If for any reason you don’t receive a gift just let me know and I will send you something myself.

I’m going to leave this open for ONE MONTH. On the 1st of March you will receive an email with all the details you need!

I mainly knit and crochet. I do some card making, simple sewing and scrapbooking. I have also been known to make beaded jewelry and handmade soap.

I would absolutely LOVE to participate in this! What a wonderful idea! I really hope I get someone who has given a general idea of their likes and dislikes, it would make it a bit easier to decide what to make 🙂
I like just about everything… Jewelry, Crocheting, Bows, Soaps, Candles, Animals, Photography, Painting… the list just goes on and on!
Don’t really like Creepy Crawly things, and especially don’t like spiders…
