Daisy I.

Daisy is in the hospital tonight.

I can’t believe that less than 3 months ago I was going through this with Maisie, the not knowing, the worry, the sick to my stomach feeling. But here I am again, but this time it’s my sweet Daisy.

I don’t know much at the moment. She’s on fluids for the night because she was so dehydrated. Her kidneys and liver are struggling, which is probably from the dehydration, but could be something more serious. She has a lump in her stomach, which is probably a piece of string that has bunched her intestines up, which is very serious, but it could be a tumour, which would be more serious.

The best case scenario at the moment is that with the fluids her intestines will let go of the string so she can pass it naturally. The more likely scenario is that they’ll do surgery tomorrow to remove that fucking piece of string. The worst case scenario is something I can’t even write down or imagine. I honestly don’t know how I’d cope losing my Daisy.

It’s going to be a long night of worry.

Please send any thoughts, prayers or positive energies that you have to spare Daisy’s way.

Oh, Daisy, of all the things to copycat Maisie with, sickness is not the thing!
I will definitely keep Daisy girl in my prayers & thoughts … truly, I hope the fluids do the job and alleviate the inflammation. Big kitty love!

Thinking of you and Daisy and sending prayers and positive energies your way, I have sent a message to Mum and my Sister to do the same.

Oh Zoe, I’m so sorry. I will keep my fingers crossed for you and Daisy. It’s so hard when a fur baby is sick and in pain.
