Homesickness.

There’s nothing like the holidays to make one yearn for the quiet comfort of family. Even though my family aren’t particularly religious (we range from atheist, to agnostic, to multi-spiritual), I still find the holidays very hard. I’m one of 5 children, and when we’re all at home, in the house Mum and Dad have lived in for about 27 years, it’s perfect. On the weekend everyone was there. Except me.

3,220 km from home.

I am sorry you’re homesick. I am home but I find myself feeling homesick sometimes because my mom passed away in 2003 and I still miss her and it makes me terribly homesick.

I hope you get to go home soon or that home comes to you even sooner!

I know just how you feel, all my family seemed to up and leave me this year (one half moving out of the state, the other half out of the country). Hope your Easter was good in spite of the distance. I’m sending *hug* thoughts Westward for you!

Awww… I know exactly how you feel – it’s really hard. Keep your chin up! xo
